PARENT PROGRAM: Reclaiming Play in a Screen-Saturated World
Church of the Holy Comforter, 222 Kenilworth Ave, Kenilworth, IL 60043
In an incredibly short period of time, tablets and smartphones have transformed childhood and family life. But the most important childhood experiences take place offline, including self-directed creative play, interactions with peers, family members and other caring adults, and exploration of the natural world. CCFC’s Josh Golin will offer parent-tested strategies for fostering play and family fun, as well as ways that communities can come together to ensure children have the experiences they need in order to thrive. Presented by Josh Golin from Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood. This event is free and open to the public. Parent Program Flyer
