Parents are a child's first and most important teacher. We offer free educational programs and resources, providing parents and caregivers information and confidence to be successful in their role of first teachers.

Speaker Series

We host nationally respected researchers, authors and Early Childhood leaders to speak on issues such as early brain and child development, peer and sibling relationships, play, appropriate use of technology in early childhood, school readiness, strategies to deal with difficult behaviors, twins and multiples, and support of children with special needs. Parenting Workshop Series

Launching in September 2019, is our first parenting workshop series, “Parenting with Confidence” in partnership with Tuesday’s Child. This workshop will provide parents with specific strategies to create peaceful routines and encourage cooperation. Parents walk away with phrases that boost cooperation and help maintain positive behaviors outside the home. Alternatives to yelling and threatening to get things done will also be discussed. Join us for these informative workshops and get ready for a peaceful positive household! Registration is requested.

 
 

New Parent Group

Launching in September 2019, a 10-Week New Parent Group, “New Baby and Me,” welcoming all parents, not just first timers  This group will help parents adjust to the newborn in their life, develop a strong support system, and build strong relationships with other new parents. Limited spots available. Registration required. Stay tuned for more information.
