At Baker we don’t just think outside the box, we cut the box, design the box and play inside the box! Family, community, play and creativity; these things are at the heart of our mission at Baker and they will all come together at our Annual Baker Family Cardboard Challenge on Saturday October 18th, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Baker.
After we build and clean up, we will take time to admire and play with all of our creations. Leftover cardboard will be shared with the middle school science program for their springtime cardboard boat regatta, so nothing goes to waste! Families will need to carefully haul (or not so carefully stuff) their creations in their cars for more hours of fun at home or kindly add to the recycling bin outside. Please RSVP by Friday, Oct. 10th so Ms. Toole can best prepare for space and materials. Please remember to bring a cutting tool (box cutter or heavy scissors) and some strong tape (duct tape or packaging tape) and we will provide the rest!
