Teachers shape childhood. They spark curiosity, nurture growth, and create environments where children feel safe to explore and learn. Yet, despite their profound impact, teachers are often under-recognized and under-supported.

Supporting teachers is not just the responsibility of schools; it’s a shared community commitment. As spring unfolds, we have an opportunity to recognize the educators in our communities and reflect on how we can better sustain and uplift their work. Spring offers a moment to pause, reflect, and intentionally recognize the educators who guide our children each day.

We champion teachers because we know the research: their work is foundational to children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development. At a time when the value of educators, and the support they need, is too often overlooked, it is more important than ever to name and uplift their impact. In partnership with families, teachers help build the foundation for children’s early development and lifelong learning.

Support This Work – Your contribution helps provide teachers across the Alliance network with meaningful professional learning and the ongoing support they need to help children thrive.
