Join The Alliance for Early Childhood and Community Partner, Cook County Forest Preserve, in tree climbing.  The Forest Preserve Resource Management Team will belay children up and down native trees in the woods. All protective equipment will be provided.  Children will also engage in shelter building activities and explore the site using a map and applying navigational skills.  

Unfortunately, the tree climb station will not take place this Saturday. The Forest Preserve department that facilitates this activity has been pulled away for other duties.

However, we are excited to include the following activities at our event: Shelter Building, Bird Exploration (birding and binocular walks), Pond dipping (aquatic exploration), Self-guided scavenger hunts

We hope to see you and your family on Saturday.

Intended Age: 5 years old and up 

Registration is preferred but drop-in attendees are welcome.
