Join The Alliance for Early Childhood, the Wilmette Park District, and Go Green Wilmette for a morning of sandcastle building, birding, and caring for our local beach! Bring your favorite sandcastle-building tools and a sense of adventure as we build, play, and work together to help keep Gillson Beach beautiful. Families will have opportunities to participate in a beach clean-up, learn about the birds and migration patterns that make this shoreline an important habitat, and discover ways we can care for the natural world around us.
